Hey blog followers, Here is a preview of my next batch of coffee cozies. They're pretty much all from that stash of fabric I came into like last week. I'll post some more pictures as I get more made Also, a heads up-if it works out, I will hopefully **fingers crossed** have a table at Groton Olde Home Days this year. It'll hopefully be on Main St but I'll post my location when I know the full details for sure. And I'll be there on Saturday( as I don't work then) Speaking of Groton, I've consigned at the Early Settler (across the street from Brittany Station) and I have some cozies and some bags there. I've already had some sales(yay!-and thanks to those who bought my cozies!). I'm really excited that i've been able to get my items out there.

creatures: big and small

Enter stage left: Milo and the Gang Last summer, I made this little creature and I named him Milo.  Milo had to have a younger sister and I named her Lora(pronounced like the name “laura”). Milo and Lora had to have some friends to play with and so I created: Harold, Suze, Joey and Keli.  Milo and Lora have a new home but the rest are waiting to be adopted Enter stage right: Owl Have you ever gone through a stage, or maybe more than one, where you, or a group of friends, become completely obsessed about one thing? I remember in middle school everyone seemed to be obsessed with monkeys. It was weird. Recently, I’ve been going on etsy and searching for “owls”. Any result is fine but the ones I seem more attracted to are the retro looking owls. I got creative one day and completely out of the blue i sketched out a little owl creature in my drawing pad and then took up one  whole page and created a pattern. Every part of this little ow...

bags

I’m not a bag person. I mean, how many bags does one need? But one of the things that I do like making are bags. I went through this stint where I made these little cosmetic/handbag purse things. They were like the most complicated thing I ever made way back when. I have 2 for sale ($15 each or both for $25). I made a couple for gifts for some people ( some friends, a teacher, a pen pal in Africa). I even entered one in a Quilt Show. I really thought for sure someone would want to buy it. EDIT:  this bag as been sold  But, alas, I have 2 that need homes. I got creative one day at a previous job and stitched out an embroidery. I got home and after a while of it just sitting in my room, I finally came up with something that I could make. A bag. But not just any bag. A padded bag, with 2 straps and a different pattern on the back. Oh, and it had to have buttons. So now I have this awesome bag that also needs a home. I weight test all my bags and thi...
